Situated on the first floor the Marina Room provides arguably the best views from Water's Edge across the bay and out to sea. This room has a standard double bed and ensuite with shower.
Luxury Self Catering at Water's Edge Glenarm
We now offer a two bedroom apartment offering flexible accommodation for up to six people sharing two bedrooms on our ground floor. Our Beach and Bay Rooms will accommodate 3 x single beds or one super-king double and one single bed.
Accommodation comprises -
Our largest room is on the ground floor and has a 6'6 zip-link double bed that can easily be configured to provide two large singles.Three slide and sash windows provide incredible views across the bay. The ensuite bathroom boasts a bath for the ultimate relaxation and separate shower.
Again on the ground floor, our Bay Room has a 6'3 zip-link bed that can be configured to provide two large single beds. The ensuite bathroom has been designed as a wetroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath - the ideal way to give those aching limbs a rest!
At Water's Edge we can offer three ensuite bedrooms, some with flexible accommodation. We can configure the ground floor bedrooms as a large double or twin. Just tell us at the time of booking how you would like your beds configured and we will have your room ready on your arrival or send us an email if you would like alternative options. Two of our bedrooms are on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Underfloor heating and mechanical ventilation can be controlled by our guests thus ensuring your room is at a temperature exactly as you would like it. Each of our rooms comes equipped with a wall mounted satellite TV should you wish to relax in your room for a few hours after a busy day sightseeing. Bedrooms and communal areas have access to free Wi-Fi. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in each of our bedrooms.
Cancellation policy – a small Bed & Breakfast such as ours is clearly affected by cancellations. If you need to cancel a reservation please notify us by telephone at your earliest convenience. If you cancel less than two days prior to your booking you will be charged the first night accommodation fee. If you fail to show, we will charge the full amount of your booking. Please get in touch with us if you find yourself in difficulty with your booking.
Pets - we have one bedroom (Bay Room) that can accommodate small/medium well behaved and house trained dogs over two years old subject to discussion and agreement with the proprietors prior to booking. All dogs must remain within bedrooms and are not allowed on the furniture. Dogs must not be left unattended in bedrooms and should be kept on a lead at all times within the building and transferred to vehicles during meal times. Pet owners are asked to respect other guests who may not have the same liking for pets as we do. A small fee (£5.00) will be charged to compensate for the additional cleaning required after a pet visits.
Check-in/Arrival – guests may check in on the day of arrival between 1600 and 1900. If you are unable to check in at these times please let us know and we will endeavour to facilitate you and ensure there is someone here to welcome you but please be mindful that late check in can disturb other guests.
Departures - We ask our guests to vacate their rooms on the day of departure between 1030 and 1100 as we need time to prepare rooms for new arrivals.
No Smoking Policy - The house, the rear courtyard and front patio area and grounds are all non smoking. By law we cannot allow smoking on our premises.
Guest Registration – We are legally obliged to record the details of all guests aged over 16, including the date of arrival and departure, full name and nationality. We must also record the passport number, place of issue and next destination of guests who are not British, Irish or Commonwealth citizens. All guests aged over 16 must complete a registration form on arrival. These records will be kept for at least 12 months.
Loss or damage – Guests are requested to report any breakages, loss or damage caused by them to Water's Edge Glenarm property and we ask that guests leave their room in a clean, neat and tidy condition. Guests must report any loss or damage to their own property immediately on discovery to the proprietors, and we ask that they make themselves available to assist with any reports we feel necessary to report to the police. Guests may be charged an additional cleaning fee should rooms be left in an unacceptable condition. A room charge of £20.00 will be made for additional cleaning.
Behaviour - Water's Edge Glenarm B&B reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, we reasonably consider that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, and or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner. We reserve the right to require a guest to leave if he/she is causing a disturbance, or is behaving in an unacceptable manner towards other guests or staff.
